Andrea Knyvette George, 44, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 23, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Lake Charles, LA on March 4, 1977, to Andrew Smith and Beverly Joubert Lee. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Reeves CME Temple Church by Reverend William Wallace.
She was a 1995 graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School and attended McNeese State University. She began her career as a phlebotomist at St. Patrick's Hospital before going to Fresenius Kidney Care. On July 31, 1998, she married her high school sweetheart, Brandon George, and they shared a life together for 22 years. They had 3 fur babies who they loved dearly; of which 2 have gone to doggie heaven, Duke and Dutchess.
Andrea is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Andrew & Sarah Smith; maternal grandparents, Ananias & Beretta Joubert; and her father, Andrew J. Smith.
She leaves those to cherish her memories her loving husband, Brandon George and fur baby,
#doodoobuttstankydrawls; parents, Beverly (Ray) Lee; brothers, Tony (Rayma) Smith, Randall
Starlard, and John (Rasheeda) Sam; aunts, Carolyn (Willie) Richardson, Sarah (Pete) Jones, Willie May Baisley, Deborah Elaine (George) Whitehead, and Catherine Green; sister, Jobina (Kevin) Scott; sister/cousin, LeShan (Terrance) Jackson; nieces, Lak'ken Starlard, Alexia Carter, Dallas Thibodeaux, Kennedy & Kamryn Scott; nephews, Kaden Scott, Kedric Cole, Paul & Prince Smith; and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021, at New Covenant Faith Baptist
Church, 2233 12 th Street, Lake Charles, LA 70601, with a viewing from 3-4 pm and services
following promptly afterwards. A second line will be performed immediately following the
services.
Flowers may be sent to Fondel Memorial Chapel, 832 N. Lyons St, Lake Charles, LA 70601 on
Friday, April 30, 2021. Cash donations, in lieu of flowers, will also be greatly appreciated. Cash
