Larry Chavis III, cherished newborn son of Larry and Kimberly (Anderson) Chavis, Jr., transitioned on June 30, 2018 at Christus Lake Area Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Along with his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory sister, Sydnei K. Joseph, brother, Kaiden P. Joseph paternal grandmother Roslyn Chavis, maternal grandparents Carl Anderson and Pamela Anderson , paternal great grandmother Myrtle Harten. He is also survived by uncles Leonce, Lorenzo, Laphonzo Chavis and Daniel Anderson and aunts Rashanda Chavis and Dr. Leslie Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and namesake Larry Chavis Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 9, at 10:00 AM at Newman Bandstand inside Audubon Park, 6500 Magazine St. New Orleans, La.
