Barbara Jean Henry Green, 72, was born on June 10, 1948 in Sicily Island, LA to the late Mollie Henry Day. She entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2021.

She was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School in Lake Charles, LA. After 30 years of dedicated service, she retired from PPG Industries, in Sulphur LA.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mollie Day and grandparents, Flem and Mollie Henry.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children: Marvin (Minna) Henry of Huntersville, NC and LeShan (Terrance) Jackson of Chester, VA; 3 sisters: Betty Roberts of Fort Mohave, Arizona, Ruth Robinson of Lake Elsinore, CA , and Janet Hasty of Lake Charles, LA; 2 brothers: Tyrone Harden of New Orleans, LA, and George Day of Lake Charles, LA; 5 grandchildren: Ciera (Tre) Deriggs of Ayase, Japan, Barbara (Byron) Henry and Mariah Henry both of Spartanburg, SC, Christopher Arnold of Melbourne, FL, and Manuel Henry of Huntersville, NC; 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.

Due to Coronavirus, Barbara Green's memorial service will be limited to immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the COPD Foundation.
