Blanquetta La'Shaneque Trent Abraham, 48, was welcomed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 29, 2018 with her loving family at her side.

Blanquetta was born September 6, 1970, in Jennings, LA, to the late Sanders and Esther Mae Trent. She was the devoted wife of 29 years to Tevis Abraham. She was a loving mother to two children Shakira Abraham Hardeman (Quante') and Tevis Tre' Abraham.

Blanquetta was a doting grandmother to Quante' "Tyga" Hardeman. She was also a loving sister to Sanders Trent, Gregory Trent (Cindy), Johnny Trent (Haila), Jeannie Trent, Jeanette Trent, Dakota Trent, Deliah Johnson, Pernell Trent (Connie), Joyce Trent, and Sandra Mouton.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Curleen Harris, Nelda Lyons, and Anthony Trent.
Mrs. Abraham also leaves to cherish her memories, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Blanquetta loved God and was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Dr. G.C. Chaney. Being blessed with many talents, Blanquetta was a business owner (Elite Hare Care, LLC) and haircare professional for over 20 years. She was also a published author (Just One Touch, published 2018), musician and singer. Blanquetta loved life, her husband, children and her family.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Union Baptist Church, located at 1014 S Main St, Jennings, LA 70546. Burial will take place in Peterson Cemetery following the service under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held at Union Baptist Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
