Charles was born to the late Charles M. Richard Sr. and Barbara G. Bartie Richard.

He was a long term employee at Mazen's Seafood Restaurant. He did not mind showing off his cooking skills from time to time. Charles loved a good game of dominoes and spades. He would challenge anyone who was ready to throw down with him. But he was a sore loser and didn't mind putting you out or flipping over a table. Never a dull moment with June.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara G. Bartie Richard, father, Charles M. Richard Sr., brother, Kim G. Richard, maternal grandmother, Victoria Bartie, maternal grandfather, Ellis N. Bartie, paternal grandmother, Ruby Rucker.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his sisters Latonia Lewis (Puddin), D'Andria Richard, D'Asia Walker, eldest son, Ri-Gee Glodd, eldest daughter, Linnea Franklin. The mother of his children Jennifer Thibodeaux which are Tristan Thibodeaux, Trinity Thibodeaux, Hunter Thibodeaux, Martin Thibodeaux, grandchildren, Blue Thibodeaux, Grey Thibodeaux, Josiah Glodd, & Malaya Glodd.
