Cornelius Tucker of Lake Charles, LA was born October 13, 1949 to the late Mae Ella Tucker & Warren Tucker. He departed this life on December 23, 2021 at the age of 72. Cornelius served in the United States Army and retired after 20 years of service. He was a young solider when he fought in the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, he left Lake Charles to live in Virginia with his young family. He later returned to Lake Charles in 1993 where he resided until being called home.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina M. Paul (Gregory) of Chesapeake, VA; a son, Jonathan Tucker of Suffolk, VA; a granddaughter, Santina B. Paul of Chesapeake, VA; a grandson, Kyng Tucker of Suffolk, VA; a sister, Agnelius Boutte of Lake Charles, LA; two nieces Antoinette Stallion & Kesha Boutte both of Lake Charles, LA; a nephew Michael Blue of Lake Charles, LA; two great nephews and a host of cousins.

Cornelius was preceded in death by his nephew Peter Michael Boutte and great nephew D'arious Boutte as well as several aunts and uncles. Arrangements are entrusted to Fondel Memorial Chapel 832 N. Lyons St. Lake Charles, LA.
