Daniel Ozan

Daniel Ozan was born on August 05, 1952 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Orelia Dugas Ozan and Alexander Ozan. Daniel was a native of Lacassine, Iowa, and Lake Charles, Louisiana. He graduated from Iowa High School and worked as a Landscape Technician for multiple refinery in Calcasieu Parish before retiring in the mid 90s. Daniel was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knight of Columbus in Lake Charles, La. He loved fishing, hunting, family gatherings, and home-cooked meals! There was nothing that was to big that he couldn’t handle. He cherished every moment he got to spend with his family and friends.

Daniel departed this life on August 30, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Orelia Dugas Ozan, his father Alexander Ozan, one brother Alexander Ozan, Jr. and one sister Cyndy Sue Ozan, and one brother-in-law Felton Malbrough.

He leaves to cherish his memories five sister Flossie Guillory, Elizabeth Malbrough, Patricia Cole (Tommy, Sr.) of Lake Charles, La., Yvonne Ozan Pradier (Glen) of Lawton, Oklahoma, one sister-in-law Charmaine O. Ozan, three godchildren Jacqueline Jackson (Kenyon,Sr.), Amber Lain, and Susan Randle, a niece he helped raise Orelia Guillory along with four other nieces, four nephews, seven great nieces, eight great nephews, and a host of family and friends.
