Darlene Marie Jackson Wilridge, 57, was called to be with her Heavenly Father April 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Welsh, Louisiana was the daughter of the late Nancy Achane Jackson and the late Junius Jackson Sr. Darlene accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Aaron Williams.

Darlene was a very hard worker who loved working with the elderly and children. She was a devoted employee with All About You Home Healthcare. Darlene truly enjoyed spending time with family and partying. She was truly the life of the party. She had many friends but there were two that were dear to her heart; Glenda Edwards and Patsy Wykoff that she enjoyed hanging out with.

She is preceded in death and welcomed into Heaven's Gate by her parents, Nancy and Junius Jackson Sr.; husband Billy Ray Wilridge Sr.; daughter, Sha-La Wilridge Rougeau; grandson Deontay Wilridge; grandparents; Odeal and Clarence Achane, and Lucille and Nicholas Jackson.

Darlene leaves behind a legacy of love a laughter to her cherished sons: Billy Ray Wilridge Jr. (Christina), Tremaine Wilridge (Jessica), and Dustin Wilridge (Kendriana) all of Lake Charles, La; four sisters: Loretta (Oral) Douglas of Fort Myers, FI., Patricia (Burnell) Turner of Jennings, La., Joanne Benoit of Welsh, La., and Jennifer (Joseph) Jackson of lowa, La.; two brothers: Junius Jackson Jr. (Shelina) of lowa, La., and Arnold (Crystal) Jackson of Jennings, La; four granddaughters: Paris, Lon' Dynn, Ryleigh, and Kehlani Wilridge all of Lake Charles, La.; two grandsons:
Carter and Billy Wilridge Ill all of Lake Charles, La.; and a host of relatives and friends.

Darlene will be remembered as a devoted and loving mom, grandmother, and sister.
