Dwight Lee "NuNu" Breaux, Jr. 42, was born April 26, 1977 in Jennings, Louisiana to the late Dwight and Cheryl Ann Guidry Breaux Sr. Born in Jennings, NuNu was a resident of Welsh, Louisiana where he attended Welsh High School and was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

He worked as a hydroblaster at Turner Industries. NuNu liked basketball and was a barber by trade. He was a very giving person and loved children. Everyone that knew him, knew he loved to dress.

He departed this life Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in Jennings, Louisiana from a fatal shooting. He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Kalem Breaux and Gavyn Taylor; one daughter, Dajuh Fontenot; one great granddaughter, Dai'Leigha Henry; one sister, Destiny Guidry; two brothers, Damien Deshawn Guidry and Jonathan Breaux Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Deserae Ramone Guidry; and one brother, Timothy Breaux, and grandmother Wilmer Guidry.

His funeral will be 1PM Saturday, October 26, 2019 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 710 W. Welsh Street in Welsh. Pastor Nathan Stevens and Rev. E.J. Guidry will officiate. Burial will be in Eastridge Cemetery under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 8:30AM in the church.
