Erma "Phil" Ceasar Cronk, 60, transitioned into the arms of the Lord in a local hospital surrounded by her family and friends on August 7, 2024.
Born on December 25, 1963 in Eunice, LA to Charlie and Alice Ceasar, Phil was the seventh of twelve children. She attended Washington High School where she was an athlete and excelled in academics. After receiving Christ at an early age, Phil went on to nurture and grow her family. She was the epitome of a mother with her unconditional love. She could also be a tough disciplinarian and would speak her mind freely when she had a strong opinion. She was sassy and quick witted with punch lines. Phil enjoyed watching television, cooking and dining with her husband, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of eleven years, David Cronk. Seven children, Sandra Joseph of Lake Charles, LA; Suntanya (Richard, Jr.) McKinney of Dublin, VA; Deltra (Todderick) Joseph of Beaumont, TX; Johnson Joseph, Jr., Erica (Joshua) Joseph, Alexandria Joseph and Amber Joseph of Lake Charles, LA .,Twelve grandchildren, Corey, Dae'Lon, Destiny, Layla, Sameria, DeShawn, Donald, Clowee, JaMarcus, Nevaeh, Gabriella and JaLandon. Two great-grandchildren, Kylianna and Jamari. Four sisters and five brothers, Sunday Ceasar Guidry, Allison Ceasar, Charlie Ceasar, Jr., and Darren Ceasar of Lake Charles, LA; Sandra Ceasar of Westlake, LA; Bithomas "Tony" Ceasar of Houston, TX; Equilla Ceasar of New Orleans, LA; Demetrius Ceasar of San Diego, CA; and Stacy Ceasar of Brownsville, TX. She also leaves cherished memories with her bonus children, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Phil was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Alice Ceasar; Son, Vito "Dwayne" Joseph; Grandson, Derenski Fontenot; Brother Robertson "Dale" Brown and Sister Dora Ceasar Lawrence.
