Ethel McClain

Ethel May McClain was born on January 9, 1964, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she was born, raised, and spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and a community she loved dearly. Ethel dedicated many years of service working in hospitality at local hospitals throughout Lake Charles. Following her retirement, she spent her days doing what brought her the greatest joy-being surrounded by her family and friends.

Her loving children, Charles McClain (Lakisha), Shameka McClain, and Shonrika McClain.
Her greatest blessings, her grandchildren, Yaz'mine, Anthony, David, and Kyla.

Ethel never met a stranger. Her warm smile, kind words, and loving spirit touched everyone she encountered. Whether offering encouragement, sharing a compliment, or simply striking up a conversation, she had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved. Anyone who met Ethel quickly became family. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
