Eura Nell Gallien Dominique "Nell", 78 was born on January 10, 1942 along with her twin to the union of Ella Owens and William Gallien in Opelousas, LA. Eura was baptized at an early age. She became a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana where she was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and Messiah Baptist Church. Eura attended public school and graduated from W. O. Boston, class of 1961.

Eura later met and married Calvin Dominque, Jr. and through this union they had three daughters Jacqueline Dominique, Sherry Lynn Dominique and Tracy Dominique Shaffield.

Eura was beautiful, smart, and strong woman. She overcame several obstacles she endured when she had a brain aneurysm earlier in life and she still was able to graduate with hoors from Delta School of Business. Eura loved to cook, bake, and she never met a stranger. She was able to sit with total strangers and hold endless conversations.

She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Tracy Dominique Shaffield; sisters, Ruby Bellar (her twin), Wanda Davis, Loretta Gallien all of Lake Charles, and Willie Mae Henderson of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Donovan (LeAnn) Dominique, Joy Dominique, Jasemine Dominique, and Jovonna Guillory; one great granddaughter, Dionne Ella Dominique; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gallien and Ella Owens; two daughters, Jacqueline Dominique and Sherry Dominique; grandson, Dion Dominique; stepmother, Leola Gallien, sisters, Norma Gallien and Ivory Marie Gallien, and brother, Anthony Gallien.
