Floyd Joseph departed this life on May 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his wife and children.

Floyd Edwards Joseph was born on January 27, 1946 to the late Lindsay Joseph, Sr. and Alzina Randle in Lafayette, La.

He worked many years as a Longshoreman for the Port of Lake Charles. He married his long-time love Louise Young on November 17, 2016. He was a member of Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr. Floyd was also a member of the church's Men's Boot Camp Ministry.

Funeral Service will be held at Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr., will officiate, on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Viewing will be from 11:00 am to 12:50 pm with Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.
