Horace James Stevens Jr. was born on November 27, 1966, to Horace James Stevens Sr. and Eva Mae Stevens in Lafayette, Louisiana.  He attended and graduated from Leesville High School in Leesville, LA.

Horace was a construction worker most of his life and later was chief employee at Walk On's Restaurant in Lake Charles, LA until his passing.  He was an outgoing, happy and loving man who loved spending time with his family and friends.  He also loved playing cards and going to the Casino.  He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and cook.  He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Horace James Stevens Sr.; sister, Meycosia Raynette Jones; one brother, Carlos Stevens; one grandfather, Roger "Bouley" Stevens; two grandmothers, Mrs. Anita Jiles and Mrs. Merlin Dupree, along with other loved ones.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Adrienne Thompson of Zachary, LA ; his beloved mother, Eva Mae Stevens of Lake Charles, LA; seven sisters, Lytandia Stevens, Belita Stevens Cole, Jacquetta Stevens, and Juanetta Stevens Johnson all of Lake Charles, LA, LuShanna Stevens, Marcella Stevens, and Aleta Stevens all of Little Rock, AR; stepson, Christopher Hayes of Zachary, LA; a special god daughter, Kaylani Mitchell of Lake Charles, LA; one aunt, Irma Moore of Lafayette, LA; mother-in-law, Arthelma Thompson of Zachary, LA; father-in-law, Leroy Thompson Sr. of Zachary; his dog, Peso and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
