Jerald Jermaine Ardoin "Squirrel" moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana with his family almost 40 years ago from Dequincy, Louisiana. He accepted Christ in his heart as Lord and Savior as a pre teen.
He attended John F. Kennedy and T. H. Watkins elementary, Oak Park Middle School, and he attended LaGrange High School for a few years.Jerald had a spunky, witty, and outgoing personality. He was a people's person and never met a stranger. His gift was to help and minister to the less fortunate people out on the streets, the ones that society rejected. He showed people love throughout his life. He helped anyone he could whose path he crossed. He always looked out for the underdog and showed compassion by praying for them.
His hobbies were fishing, swimming, basketball, baseball, and track and field. Jerald also loved writing music and singing. He was always smiling and had a great anointing on his life. His favorite scripture was Psalm 91 . He really knew the word of God and had a deep love for Jesus Christ.
Jerald is preceded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory Gloria McBride Ceril and his father Jerry Ardoin; four sibling from his mother, Felicia Lashay Pryor of Spring Lake NC, Jimmie Lee (Janet) Lewis of Lumberton, NC, Shirley Lee (Ademola) Afolbi of Fayetteville, NC, LoRita Chere McBride of Fayetteville, NC; siblings from his father, Cedric James (Thelma) Patrick, Mariah Shantrell (Jamal) Seraille and Chasity Monique (Lazarus) Williams. His children Destiny Shai' nelle Driver of Fayetteville, NC, Ciera Denee Walters of Oklahoma, Brennan Jerald Jermaine Ardoin, Braden Ardoin of Moss Bluff, La; His legacy continues with five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
