On Friday, August 23, 2019, John "Brown Bear" Casimere, Sr. 65, was called home. John was a loving husband and father. Born on December 31, 1953, in Opelousas, Louisiana, where he attended school and mastered his trade. He retired after 15 year's of service as an employee at Bolton Ford.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jonathan "No Fear" Casimer; parents Irene Amos Casimere and Lewis "T-Man" Casimere; brother Raphael Casimere, grandparents Alice Arnaud Amos and Joseph Amos.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife Jacquelin Boutte Casimere; three daughters Kayla (Ricky) Bernard, Irma Casimere, and Felicia Comeaux, two sons John Casimere Jr., Corey (Alberta) Casimere
One stepdaughter Kizzy (Troy) Henderson, one stepson Thaddeus Boutte; three brothers Patrick Casimere of Las Vegas, Nevada. Donald (Christine) and Joseph Casimere of Houston, Tx.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Fondel Memorial Chapel, 832 N. Lyons St., Lake Charles, LA. Visitation is from 9:00 to Noon, with funeral service to follow. Burial will be in Combre Cemetery under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.
