IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juanita
Eaglin
July 6, 1945 – August 7, 2024
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, The Almighty God in his Infinite Wisdom called Juanita Antoine Eaglin "home" to a land that is free from sickness and pain. She shall rest from her labor in a building not made by man.
Juanita, affectionately known as "chicken" was one of six children born to Vincent and Lillian Antoine, Sr. in Lake Charles, La. She was baptized at an early age at New Sunlight BC under the direction of Dr. V. E. Washington.
She married Samuel Griffin, St., to this union she bore one Son, Samuel Griffin, Jr. As time passed Juanita moved to Kinder, La where she met and married Hamen Eaglin. Upon his death she returned to Lake Charles and united with Redemption Tabernacle Full Gospel Ministries where Rev. Kenneth A. Goins serves as Pastor.
Juanita loved cooking and worked at Piccadilly for a number of years. An outspoken person Juanita will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Vincent & Lillian Antoine; two brothers: Vincent Jr. & Robert; one sister: Barbara Jean Lewis.
She is survived by one son: Samuel Griffin, Tr.; one grandson, Joshua Geroid Griffin, two brothers: Alfred Sr and Lawrence Antoine, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
