Kristen Nicole " Nicki" Collins Jones was 45 years old when she was called home to be with God on February 17,2021. She was born August 22,1975 in Eunice , Louisiana to Brenda "Wilbert" Prejean from Eunice , La. and Merle Cobb from Lake Charles, La. She grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana where she attended Lake Charles-Boston High School and graduated in 1993. She received her LPN from Sowela and in 2011 she got her RN from Lamar State College in Orange, Texas. Next to family, Nursing and taking care of others was her passion. Kristen worked in Texas at Clear Lake Medical Center. She was also employed with St. Martin de Porres (LPN), Landmark Platinum Agency as a Travel Nurse (RN) .She was actively employed at Christus St. Patrick's Hospital before she fell ill. Kristen was a devoted mother, daughter, aunt, godmother, and friend. Her love for others ran as deep as the Ocean.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Henry Jones, II. She is survived by her Parents Brenda Prejean and Merle Cobb, her loving daughter, Kobe Shephard; her brother – Wilbert Prejean , Jr. ; Step Daughter-Jasmine Jones; Nephews- Suron West and Wilber Prejean III: Nieces – Rhiynn and Scotti Prejean. Godchildren- Traelen Humphrey , Larry Bigelow, Jr., Hendrix Jones all from Lake Charles, Louisiana and a host of close friends and family.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Fondel Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. in the chapel.
