Obituary

MacArthur "Red" Douglas, Jr. was born on October 15, 1964 to MacArthur Douglas Sr. And Sharon (Barker) Douglas in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

MacArthur dedicated is life to Jehovah God on July 9, 1983. He loved the ministry of preaching and teaching about the good news of God's Kingdom. He loved talking to people wherever people could be found. This was his life to get to talk to people, even when he was ill, he could be found in the ministry helping people learn about Almighty God Jehovah and the promises outlined in his word the Bible.

He enjoyed his work as a skilled appliance repairman, which he often did alongside his dear father. He spent over 20 years working his occupation as an air conditioner technician at the Calcasieu School Board.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Sharon Douglas, his brother Mickey Douglas, his aunts, Rena Barker and Ruby Smith, his uncle Lonny "Pitt" Douglas, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He held dear the many promises outlined in God's word the Bible. There are many of these scriptures that kept his faith strong and allowed him to endure to the very end, especially such ones as John 5:28 and 29; Revelation 21:3,4 and Philippians 4:6,7.
