Marvin David Mitchell was born to the union of Edward Sr. and Ruby Lee Mitchell on December31, 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He graduated from Sam Houston High School. He was last employed by the City of Lake Charles as a Bus Driver.

His hobbies were playing video games and watching Westerns. His biggest enjoyment was
his FAMILY. His favorite music group was "WAR". He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Se. and Ruby Lee Mitchell; brother, Steve Mitchell; sister, Laura (Nee) Mitchell and grandparents, Marvin David and Olivia Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his love and memories of his brothers, Edward Jerry Mitchell of San Diego,CA and Kenneth Mitchell of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Marclina Mitchell-Haskins of San Diego, CA and Deborah Mitchell Hill of Dallas, TX; two sons, Ernest (Tiny) Anderson of Houston, TX and Ricardo Malbrew of Dallas TX; godchild, Ruby Ann Pete of Lake Charles, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 20,2021 at 2 pm in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.
