Mary Louise Guillory Joubert, 85, years old was called home on Friday, December 28, 2018, in a local nursing home surrounded by her children, grandchildren and multiple relatives and friends. She was a native of Oberlin, Louisiana. She worked as a homemaker, housekeeper, and a cook at Kiddie Fun town for several years.

Mrs. Joubert is preceded in death by parents Lena and Sam Guillory; brother Jay Guillory; sister Verda Rhone; husband Whitney Joubert Sr; and son Whitney Joubert Jr.

She is survived by son Charles (Doris) Joubert of Houston, Texas; daughter Charlotte Joubert of Houston, Texas; Michael (Lessie) Joubert of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Belinda Faye (Terry) Chretien of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Shirley Ann (Chris) of Monroe, Louisiana; Linda Faye Joubert of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mary Louise Joubert will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at St. John Baptist Church located 3378 Lauderdale Woodyard Rd., Kinder, La., 70648 with the Rev. Antonio Lee officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. with funeral starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Chretien Cemetery, Elton Louisiana under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.
