Michael Paul Carrier, 62, departed this life on Friday, October 31, 2025 @ 11:38 A.M. in Lake Charles, La at LC Memorial Hospital. He was born to Joseph, Sr. and Mary Elaine Carrier on February 13, 1963 in Lake Charles, La.

Michael's greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends; especially all of his grandchildren. He was always laughing and poking fun at them. He had a great sense of humor; to know him was to laugh with him. He loved working on or tinkering with cars, but his favorite pastime was sitting in his yard listening and dancing to Zydeco music and visiting with his neighbors.

He leaves the love of his life - his wife, Colleen Carrier, to cherish his memory after 40 years together and 33 years of marriage. He also leaves his two daughters & three sons, Carla Louis (Joshua) of Memphis, Tn.; Lorraine Liehe of Lake Charles, La.; George DeVille and Michael DeVille (Robert "RJ") both of Pueblo, Co. and Lindsey DeVille of Lake Charles, La. Two sisters and one brother, Linda Roberts (William) and Lloyd Henry Carrier both of Beaumont, Tx.; Helen Coleman (Rickey) of Oberlin, La. He has 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, 2 godsons, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who mourn his passing, but celebrate his memory.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Joseph, Sr. and Mary Elaine Carrier; two brothers, Joseph Jr. & Russell Carrier; two sisters, Bertha Tyler & Mamie Alfred; and two nephews, Ryan and Bernard Carrier.
