In Loving Memory of
Rodretta Tranisha Denise Williams
July 4, 1981 – October 2, 2026
Rodretta Tranisha Denise Williams was born on July 4, 1981, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Frances Briscoe and Rodney Williams Sr. She departed this life on October 2, 2026, at Lake Charles Care Center, at the age of 45.
Rodretta was a proud graduate of LaGrange Senior High School, Class of 1999. She later worked at Leading Healthcare.
Rodretta was, above all else, a true family person. Her family meant everything to her, and she made it a priority to be present for the people she loved. Whether it was a birthday, celebration, family gathering, or special event, Rodretta was there. She was always involved, always showing up, and always making memories with the people closest to her. Her presence at family events will be deeply missed.
Rodretta also had a love for dancing and enjoyed bringing her fun-loving spirit wherever she went. She had a way of making memories simply by being present, and the moments shared with her will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her daughters, Arianna Lewis and Gerren Ardoin; her mother, Frances Briscoe; her siblings, Rakisha Williams, Jacquenetta “Jackie” Williams, Latonya Williams, and Rodney Williams Jr.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Rodretta’s greatest legacy will not simply be the years she lived, but the love she gave, the memories she created, and the countless family moments she made more special simply by being there.
Though she is no longer with us in person, her love, laughter, and memories will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever a part of our family.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
