Ruth Yvonne Ryan Lewis was called home to rest on September 14, 2018 Ruth was born in Lake Charles, LA on March 8, 1941 to Gilda Guilly Ryan and Asa Ryan.

She attended Washington High school and completed with a 11th grade education. She was employed at Red Fox Inn Restaurant for 15 years until she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilda Guillory and Asa Ryan; brothers Alvin Ryan and Allen Ryan; sisters Geneva Ryan Hunt and Juanita Ryan Levias.

She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories her son Marvin Lewis (Quintessa),
granddaughter Mya Marie Lewis, grandson Marvin Jones. Brother Elmo Ryan, sister
Jenny Marie Ryan Bellard (Yusef), special cousin Shirley Howard, special friend Hazel
Floyd, special Goddaughter Gustavia Bennett, and a host of nieces, nephews and lots of
friends and family.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, 11:00 AM at Fondel Memorial Chapel.Visitation will be held from on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fondel Memorial Chapel located at 832 N. Lyons St., Lake Charles, LA, 70601. Burial will be in Hi Mount Cemetery under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.
