“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.”

2 Timothy 4:7

Samuel Washington was born on January 25, 1960, in Alexandria, LA, to the late Clara Williams and Booker T. Washington, Jr. After giving birth to twins, the family returned to reside in California.

Years later, his family left California to return to Lake Charles, LA. Sam attended and graduated from W.O. Boston High School in 1978.

He was a member of Christian Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Edward Alexander, Jr.

He loved to watch wrestling and football, with his favorite team being the San Francisco 49ers. Sam loved spending time with family and friends. He also loved dressing and shopping.

On April 19, 2009, Sam married the love of his life, Lenora Anderson.
