Shetara Shenette Landry was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend. God called her home on June 4th, at the age of 39. She was born to Patricia Landry and Wilbert Powells on March 19, 1986.

She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back if she had to. She loved God and had gotten to knew him for herself. She lived life to the fullest. Shetara loved being around family and having a good time. She loved playing basketball in her free time. She was a strong, hardworking woman, "Ms. Make it Happen," as her daughter would say. Shetara carried many titles, but one title she prides herself on is "MOM". Shetara will be missed by all those who loved and adored her.

She is preceded in death by her baby girl," Reasyn Najour", her brother, Derrick Landry, her grandmother Alice Anne Landry, her grandfather James Nelson, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Shetara leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Aariyhana Jones, her parents Patricia Landry and Wilbert Powells. 4 sisters Terrica Landry, Shinece Landry, Tonya Landry, Elaine Lewis, and Stephaine Ledet. 6 Brothers Dedrick Landry, Desmond Landry, Dominique Reynard, Chris Ledet, Jamar Lewis, and Tommy Lewis.
