We are sad to announce the passing of Virgie V. Smith, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Virgie was born on February 1, 1955, in Eunice, Louisiana to Harry and Avia Vigers. She peacefully passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 69 and surrounded by her loving family.

Virgie is survived by her four children: Melissa M Ceasar and spouse Dwight Ceasar, Dedric Vigers Sr. and spouse Lakeisha Vigers, Eric Vigers, and Erica Vigers. She was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Virgie will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and love for her family. She was always the life of the party and could brighten up any room with her smile. Virgie's love for life and those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
